How we use Board decisions to help your claim.

The Board of Veterans’ Appeals decides VA claims on appeal and explains every ruling in writing. Claim Raven has collected and analyzed more than 1.8 million of those decisions, from 1992 to July 2026: about 4.5 million rulings on individual issues and more than 234 million data points. It has read 511,042 of them in depth, and its outcome numbers match the Board’s own annual report within 1 to 3 points. For each ruling it records dozens of details, from the outcome and the reason to the evidence the Board relied on, so veterans can learn what the Board looks for and prepare a stronger claim.
