What the Free Review Covers

The included workspace analysis classifies the document, summarizes its contents, surfaces supported findings, and looks across the available record for strengths, obvious evidence gaps, risk flags, and next moves. A VA decision or DBQ may point toward Raven Eye, medical records toward Raven Scan, and a full C-File toward Raven Cipher. Those deeper tools are optional and never launch automatically.

Why the Document Comes After Sign-In

The questionnaire can begin without an account and stays in the same browser tab for up to 24 hours. A claim document is different: Claim Raven retains the original and derived analysis in a veteran-owned workspace so the source, findings, and follow-up work remain together. Sign-in and a separate AI data-consent choice happen before the upload.

What This Review Does Not Decide

The review is educational software, not legal or medical advice and not a VA-accredited opinion. It does not predict a disability rating, determine eligibility, choose a claim or appeal lane, or guarantee an outcome. Treat deadlines and procedural options as items to verify against the source document, current VA instructions, and an accredited representative when appropriate.

Common questions

Is the Claim Readiness Review really free?

Yes. The questionnaire and included baseline document review are available with a free Claim Raven account, and no credit card is required. Optional deeper specialist tools may have plan or purchase limits that are shown before they run.

Can I upload any document?

Start with a relevant VA claim document such as a decision or notification letter, DBQ or C&P exam report, medical record, statement, service record, or C-File. Supported formats are PDF, DOCX, JPG, PNG, WebP, and TXT, subject to the file-size limit shown for your account.

Do I have to enter my medical conditions before creating an account?

No. The public questionnaire uses controlled choices and does not ask for condition names or a free-text claim story. Add sensitive claim details only inside the authenticated workspace when they are needed.

Will the review tell me what rating I should receive?

No. It can summarize the uploaded record and surface evidence or questions worth checking, but it does not predict a rating or decide entitlement. Verify the source record and current VA criteria before acting.
