Start Your VA Personal Statement for Free
Describe what happened, when symptoms began, how often they occur, and how they affect daily life and work. Choose an optional AI draft with your separate consent, then review and download your statement free. No account required.
What the Free Starter Does
Four guided steps help you describe your condition or concern, your experience, and the impact on daily life. Review a statement built from your notes, or separately consent to send the notes to Anthropic for an optional AI draft. Both options are free without an account. Check the draft against your notes before using it.
What Comes After Your Statement
Download your statement as a PDF, Word document, or text file for free. You can also create a free account to bring it into a new Ask Raven message. Review that message before sending it; nothing is sent automatically. Your original notes stay available.
How to Keep the Statement Accurate
Describe only facts within your personal knowledge. Give representative examples and explain how often severe episodes occur instead of presenting a rare event as typical. Check every date, symptom, event, and effect against your memory and records before signing or submitting anything.
Common questions
Do I need an account to download my statement?
No. You can create, review, copy, print, and download your statement without an account. Optional AI drafting also works without an account, after your separate consent. Creating an account is an optional next step to continue in Ask Raven.
Does starting the statement use AI?
Starting the builder does not send your notes to AI. You can review and download a statement assembled from your answers, or choose to send your notes to Anthropic for an optional AI draft. That choice requires separate consent and does not require an account.
Does Claim Raven file the statement for me?
No. Claim Raven provides an editable drafting workflow. You are responsible for reviewing the facts, choosing the correct current VA form or submission method, signing when appropriate, and submitting through the proper channel.
