Custom Dashboard Layout
Dashboard customization changes which supported cards are visible or arranged for the account. Hiding a card does not delete its underlying data, change a claim, or stop a separate notification or connection.

Customization changes the workspace, not the claim A reminder, shortcut, layout, export, or hidden card does not calculate a deadline, submit a form, change VA data, delete underlying information, or guarantee notification delivery.
Use Custom Dashboard Layout with a reviewable workflow
Open the current dashboard control Use the visible account and plan state rather than an archived entitlement promise. The control is available before instructions are followed. Confirm the source or preference Review dates, routes, visible cards, and notification choices before saving. The customization reflects an intentional choice. Verify the result Reload or revisit the dashboard and confirm what changed and what remained separate. A layout or reminder change is not mistaken for deletion or filing. Keep official proof elsewhere Use the notice, VA.gov, and actual submission receipt for consequential status and dates. Dashboard convenience does not replace authority. Report a product defect with synthetic or irreversibly redacted details only. For product help, describe the route, visible state, and expected behavior without attaching private records, credentials, or identifying claim details.
