Raven Insights brings together published VA statistics and a structured collection of public Board of Veterans Appeals decisions. It helps you compare historical outcomes, condition patterns, denial themes, and reported workload measures without treating aggregate data as a prediction for one claim. Each panel should be read with its source date and methodology, and Board decisions are nonprecedential. The goal is better context for research and questions, not a promised outcome.
What the BVA Decision Corpus Includes
The Board of Veterans Appeals publishes public decisions. Claim Raven structures the decisions currently available in its research collection by condition, issue, outcome, denial reason, evidence type, and other dimensions. Coverage depends on the dates and records ingested, so Raven Insights does not describe the collection as every Board decision ever issued. Individual Board decisions generally do not establish precedent for another veteran's case.
Condition Intel and Denial Patterns
Where enough structured records are available, Condition Intel summarizes observed outcomes, denial themes, evidence references, secondary-condition patterns, and selected procedural signals. These are retrospective patterns from the available dataset, not success rates for your claim. Use them to identify questions and sources to investigate before drafting evidence or discussing a review option.
Regional and Processing Trends
Raven Insights presents available national and office-level workload measures from published VA reports. The panels show their controlling source dates because datasets update on different schedules and may not describe the current status or expected completion time of an individual claim. Use the figures as aggregate context, not as a reason to delay filing or as a promise about a regional office.

Is this data my personal data or national data?
The underlying statistics come from published national and regional VA data and the public BVA decision corpus. When you are signed in, Raven Insights can use claim details already saved in your account, such as the assigned office, filing date, or condition name, to place those aggregates in context. It does not change the source figures or use them to predict your outcome.
Can the analytics predict whether my claim will be granted?
No. Patterns from past cases are not a prediction of your individual outcome. Every claim turns on its specific facts and evidence. The analytics give you context, like how often the Board has granted similar claims, what evidence succeeded, what denial reasons recur, so you can make better-informed decisions, not so you can game the system.
How often is the data updated?
Update timing depends on when VA publishes a source and when Claim Raven ingests it. The dashboard shows the controlling source date for each panel; different datasets are not necessarily synchronized. Check that date before relying on a trend.
