First this is my experience, if any other vet has had a positive experience, as a veteran who works every day with veterans i am happy this outfit helped you. I contacted this firm because of #1 the reviews and #2 local #3 their website said you would speak to a lawyer not support staff for your evaluation. That date was June 18th. The issue was a proposal to sever a connection. Again I work with veterans every day. I spoke to a support staff member on the initial call who said the attorneys are not available and it takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks to speak to one. That should have been my first red flag but I trusted the reviews of others. I did not need help in filing a claim, I needed insight on keeping it service connected as per the 38 cfr. After, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, no communication from a attorney or even a case manager on my inquiry. During that time my rating went from 20% to 80% with 2 grants. Not 1 call from either a attorney or case manager just contact with the customer service manager. This week after putting in a claim for a minor condition already diagnosed and being treated, I received a email from the customer service manager again of their concern "for the claim". Not the Proposal to Sever the claim. I emailed back i am going on a 10 day trip domestic and abroad starting next week and I was sure when this all started on 6/17 I would not be having the first attorney discussion. Today is 7/24. I heard from the attorney mentioned in reviews here for the first time today while I was in a VA appointment at 4pm on a Friday. Conversation lasted 3 minutes, obviously I could not speak privately. But the conversation basically is we cannot help you. Just reviewed the file in the last 48 hours. 40 year case from. Tore the knee up while in a training at Ft. Bragg while on reserve duty. Bragg.! She told me I was not on active duty at the time. Medical notes from Bragg in the personnel file. Who goes to Bragg for the fun of it. Unbelievable. Also I have to submit a answer to the VA by Aug 17th. If they have helped you or a family member again congratulations. This though is my experience. Lastly my advice. Go through the website. If they have the language still of speaking to a attorney make sure you get that within the first few days before signing representation. Best wishes fellow vets updated. This updated review is to express what should happen with a 40 year case when reviewed properly. I gave my claim notes and c File to 3 firms after this firm took 8 weeks to tell me there was no case. Within a week of having the claim i was informed there was a case. By all 3. My service connection was severed 4 weeks after my initial post, but I feel good about restoration. Never should have happened.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We understand how stressful it is to receive a proposal to sever service connection, particularly when there are strict VA deadlines involved. From the outset, we advise prospective clients that our case review process may take up to eight weeks. This timeline is communicated in advance because we must first obtain access to the veteran's VA claims file (C-file), a process that is largely dependent on the VA. Once the C-file is received, one of our attorneys conducts a thorough review of every page before providing legal advice or determining whether our firm is the right fit for representation. We believe veterans deserve a complete legal analysis rather than a quick opinion based on incomplete information. Our firm focuses exclusively on VA disability law, and there are occasions when, after completing that comprehensive review, we determine that we are not the right firm to assist with a particular issue. While we understand that this can be disappointing, we believe it is more appropriate to be candid than to accept representation when we do not believe we can provide meaningful value. We also understand your frustration regarding the timing and communication leading up to that determination. We are continually working to improve our intake and communication processes, and your comments are valuable in helping us do that. We sincerely wish you the very best with your claim and hope you receive the outcome you deserve. Thank you again for your feedback and for giving us the opportunity to review your case.
