After pressing my previous lawyer for legal answers on a case of breach of contract and defamation, my previous lawyer decided to quit after more than a year on the case. It is when I retained Mr. Ferguson. We worked together collaboratively. He is willing to listen and try new things. He filed a motion of no-evidence within a day we signed the engagement agreement. Less than two months later, the breach of contract part of the case was dismissed. This led to the eventual drop of the whole case by the plaintiff. He can be a great lawyer. He can be a big shot lawyer if he can resolve some issues that I do not mention to overshadow his success. The difference between a bad lawyer and a good lawyer is between my previous lawyer and Mr. Ferguson. Breach of contract, third party beneficiaries are complicated legal concepts. He handled those well.

***BEWARE*** We consulted Kenneth Ferguson on the phone about a few civil cases we needed representation on and after speaking to him we had high hopes for him and his law firm. We immediately hired him for the cases, paying his requested retainers on each case. Once he was paid and agreement signed, things started going downhill fast. First, he claimed he wanted to delegate some of his tasks to a new 'junior attorney' at his firm for $250/an hour which was $100 less than his own rate. He assured us the tasks would be supervised by himself so we agreed that wouldn't be a problem. However, the new attorney he put on our cases, Cullen Angonia, started missing case deadlines and got one of our cases DWOP right off the start. It has been weeks since the case was DWOP and we were promised he would file for an immediate reinstatement but weeks later nothing has even been filed with the court despite many promises of filing for a reinstatement and we are within days of a permanent dismissal on a case where the Defendant was defaulted on and hundreds of thousands of dollars is as stake. Also, when we got our bill, they changed the hourly rate of Cullen to $350 instead of the promised $250/hour. When we said we would never have agreed to pay a junior attorney the same as his rate it he tried telling us he was too busy to perform work on our cases. This should have been disclosed up front. We didn't hire Kenneth to be tossed to a junior attorney at the same hourly rate. This was clearly a classic bait and switch which is very deceptive. It became very apparent fast that he never intended to do work on our cases in the first place and was just trying to get new cases for his other attorneys at the same rate. The other cases have been very similar circumstances. One case nothing has even been filed, not even a petition drafted to review after a month of being paid. Another case has filing deadlines due for an upcoming hearing in a few days and they have completely ignored it as well which will jeopardize that case completely. When we brought it to their attention that we were not happy about the negligence of the cases so far we were instantly told they would be withdrawing on the cases and our retainers were non refundable! Little to no work has been done on any of the cases and over $10k retainers we are told are just gone. It's clear they have no regard for their reputation. Again, we hired Kenneth because we were sold on this story of him being a professional ex military who cares about his clients and goes above and beyond in litigation but after seeing how this firm is ran first hand, we now see this a group of inexperienced guys who are fast talking new clients for retainers and then doing little to no work after the money is in their pocket. Do not walk, RUN from Kenneth and his entire firm as they are not the attorneys they portray themselves to be! We are convinced the other reviews are completely fake.
