2024 — Steven Black at Legal Aid was very helpful and thorough! 2026 — Recently contacted Legal Aid seeking assistance and left the interaction feeling both dismissed and discriminated against. When I asked about the grievance process, I was spoken to in a rude and unprofessional manner and was told that someone would contact me “when they have time.” The tone and lack of courtesy during this interaction were disappointing and concerning. I previously worked with Legal Aid in 2024 and had a very different experience. Unfortunately, the level of customer service appears to have significantly declined. The representatives I spoke with today did not seem polite, receptive, or willing to help, which is troubling for an organization that serves individuals during difficult times. I am requesting information on the formal grievance process and would appreciate this concern being reviewed by a supervisor or appropriate department.
NO ONE CALLS ME BACK🤷🏻 I'VE BEEN CALLING LEAVING MESSAGES!?
Each time I called or received a call back I was hung up on. When I try calling back within business hours, they close the in take line. I’m not sure what’s with this place but as the people, let’s collectively report them and get it shut down. They don’t help anyways.
