What is excluded and the limits

The Delta Vacations discount does not apply to airfare, Asia Escorted Tours, Globus family packages or groups of 10 or more.
Delta Vacations needs at least one Delta flight and a 2-night hotel stay, and it does not apply to existing bookings.
Military bag allowances still follow embargoes and regional weight limits, and apply to Delta-marketed tickets.

The cheapest way to buy Delta Air Lines as a veteran

The military discount is not always the lowest price. Compare it with these before you buy.

For active duty on a personal trip in Delta Main, two free 50-pound bags can be worth more than a fare discount, so compare total trip cost with bags. On a $3,000 Delta Vacations package the military discount is $75, so compare it with any public package sale. Veterans get no military rate, so the public fare is the price to beat.

Delta does not say whether its military fares combine with other fares or promotions. The Delta Vacations discount is not retroactive.
