Who qualifies

The cheapest way to buy Medieval Times as a veteran

The military discount is not always the lowest price. Compare it with these before you buy.

Medieval Times does not show the military price until you verify with ID.me, so compare it with your castle's public coupon. On October 2, 2026, the Dallas castle listed 15 percent off tickets through December 31, 2026, at $65.41 for adults and $39.91 for children, before tax, gratuity and fees. A base purchase adds the Royalty upgrade, which includes preferred seating, priority seating access and a VIP cheering banner.

Medieval Times does not say whether the military rate combines with other offers. Its castle coupon offers, such as the Dallas coupon, cannot be combined with any other offer or group rate.

Exchange availability was not checked. Medieval Times names participating military bases, not the Exchange.

No dated military offer was found. Castle coupon offers carry their own end dates, such as December 31, 2026 for the Dallas coupon.

A VA benefit that may be worth more

ID.me military verification

ID.me accepts several veteran documents, including DD214, NGB22, VHIC, VIC, VA eligibility letters and a state or county veteran ID. Names must appear on the document. Uploads of CAC and Uniformed Services ID cards are not accepted.

The store sets discount eligibility. Verifying a military credential does not mean every store includes your group.

In-store commissary, exchange and MWR access

Qualifying veterans with a service-connected rating, including 0 percent, can use commissary and exchange privileges. Other eligible groups include retirees, former POWs, Purple Heart and Medal of Honor recipients and recognized primary family caregivers. Bring your VHIC or the required VA eligibility evidence and photo ID for checkout.

Since November 1, 2024, eligible people without a VA health ID card (VHIC) can enroll for base access with a REAL ID at the visitor center, which checks eligibility electronically. The gate and the checkout check eligibility separately, so confirm local entry rules before you go.

If your privilege comes only from the 2020 expansion, commissaries add 1.43 percent for credit or signature debit and 0.36 percent for PIN debit. Cash, checks, SNAP EBT and eWIC have no fee.
