Proof and verification

Peloton checks military status through ID.me.

Accepted proof
Peloton does not list documents. It says ID.me asks for the documents needed to confirm your status. ID.me lists DD214, NGB form 22, VHIC, VIC, a state or county veteran ID, or a license with a veteran mark for veterans. ID.me does not accept Common Access Cards or Uniformed Services ID cards.DD214: your discharge papers from active duty. VHIC: the VA health ID card. VIC: the VA's Veteran ID Card.
How long it takes
Peloton says ID.me emails your verification result, usually within minutes.
At the register
Peloton describes ID.me verification online, not a card check.
Without a smartphone
Start at Peloton's special pricing page from a computer and complete ID.me there.
Recently separated
Peloton does not address recently separated members. ID.me counts veterans discharged under conditions other than dishonorable, and its document route accepts a DD214.
Privacy
You verify with ID.me. Peloton asks you to use your existing Peloton account email during ID.me so your workout history stays with your account. Never send service documents to Claim Raven.
Verifying again
Peloton asks most groups to verify every year but says members of the military category do not need to.

What is excluded and the limits

  • The All-Access Membership that Peloton equipment needs for classes is not discounted. The membership offer covers App One and App+ only.
  • If you return discounted equipment, the refund is the product price less the discount.
  • US only, while supplies last.
Code rules
One promo code per eligible product type, such as one Bike and one Row+. Place each product in a separate order. Discount amounts vary by package and product.

The cheapest way to buy Peloton as a veteran

The military discount is not always the lowest price. Compare it with these before you buy.

Special pricing does not combine with other Peloton promotions, so compare the verified price with any public sale on the same product. For the app, the military price saves $3 a month on App One and $9 a month on App+, or $30 and $90 a year on the annual plans.

Peloton says special pricing cannot be combined with other offers, referral codes or other discounts.

A VA benefit that may be worth more

ID.me military verification

ID.me accepts several veteran documents, including DD214, NGB22, VHIC, VIC, VA eligibility letters and a state or county veteran ID. Names must appear on the document. Uploads of CAC and Uniformed Services ID cards are not accepted.

The store sets discount eligibility. Verifying a military credential does not mean every store includes your group.
