AutoZone military and veteran discount

AutoZone takes 10 percent off in-store purchases for active and retired members of the armed forces and their dependents when you show military proof at the register. It does not work on AutoZone.com or in the app, and a veteran who separated without retiring is not clearly covered by its wording.

Veterans: Limited.

AutoZone names active and retired members and asks for proof of veteran status. Its proof list includes the DD214, VIC, VHIC and a veteran-marked state ID, but it does not say outright that a veteran who separated without retiring qualifies.

Who qualifies

Active duty, retirees, the Army and Air National Guard and their dependents qualify. AutoZone accepts veteran proof such as a DD214 but does not say outright whether veterans who did not retire qualify, and it does not name Reserve members, spouses or caregivers.

The cheapest way to buy AutoZone as a veteran

The military discount is not always the lowest price. Compare it with these before you buy.

On a $200 in-store purchase at regular price, 10 percent saves $20. Online coupons are a separate path: the one posted on October 1, 2026 took 20 percent off ship-to-home orders of $100 or more on regular-priced items, excluded batteries, and cannot combine with other discounts. Price the same parts both ways before you buy.

AutoZone does not say whether the military discount combines with store sale prices. It says special pricing may limit the discount, and its online coupons cannot combine with any other discount.

Exchange availability was not confirmed. Do not assume the same product or offer is available there.

No dated military holiday offer was found on AutoZone's pages.
