Ariat checks military status through SheerID, from your Ariat Insider account page.
- Accepted proof
- Ariat says some checks need extra documents but does not list them. SheerID asks for a government-issued document showing your name, branch, current affiliation and, if it applies, your discharge date. If your last name has changed, Ariat asks for a government-issued document with your current last name along with your other document.
- How long it takes
- Ariat's FAQ says you will get an email in less than 20 minutes if you are not verified instantly. Its terms say verification may take a few hours.
- At the register
- Ariat says it honors the discount in its brand stores but does not say what to show at the register.
- Without a smartphone
- Create or sign in to your Ariat Insider account and verify through SheerID on a computer.
- Recently separated
- Ariat names veterans. If SheerID asks for a document, it must show your name, branch and discharge date.
- Privacy
- Ariat says it uses your information only to confirm eligibility and does not sell it. SheerID says uploaded documents are deleted and you may cover unrelated sensitive details. Never send service documents to Claim Raven.
- Verifying again
- Ariat does not say. The current terms end December 31, 2026.
