What is excluded and the limits

  • Gift cards never get the military discount.

The cheapest way to buy Fanatics as a veteran

The military discount is not always the lowest price. Compare it with these before you buy.

The military discount does not combine with other codes, so compare it with any public code before you pay. On a $120 cart, 15 percent saves $18; a public code is only cheaper if it saves more than that on the same items.

Fanatics says the military discount cannot be combined with other promotional codes.

If the discount does not work

No discount after ID.me sign-in

Fill the cart first, then choose Troop ID at checkout. Fanatics says ID.me adds the discount to the cart after you verify.

A public promo code replaced the military discount

Fanatics applies one or the other, never both. Keep the one that saves more on your cart.

A gift card stayed full price

Gift cards are excluded from the military discount.

ID.me will not verify you

Fanatics sends verification problems to ID.me support, which it says is open 24/7.

One item did not get 15 percent off

Some products may be excluded. Fanatics' general promotion terms list exclusions but do not say which apply to the military discount, so ask Fanatics customer service before you order.

A VA benefit that may be worth more

VA clothing allowance

VA may pay $1,053.19 when a device or prescribed skin medicine for a service-connected disability damages clothing. First-time claims and changes to devices or medicines require an application by August 1. Approved recurring awards do not require another annual application when the relevant devices and medicines have not changed.

Apply with VA's online clothing allowance application, or use paper Form 10-8678a (June 2026) and the Claims Intake Center instructions on VA's prosthetics page.

The August 1, 2026 deadline has passed. Follow VA's instructions for the benefit year you are claiming.
