- Subaru does not list documents. ID.me's help page names the DD214, VIC, VHIC, NGB 22, VA eligibility letters and a state license with a veteran mark for veterans.DD214: your discharge papers from active duty. NGB22: your National Guard separation record. VHIC: the VA health ID card. VIC: the VA's Veteran ID Card.
- How long it takes
- Subaru does not state a review time. The authorization form is sent after your eligibility is verified.
- At the register
- Subaru says ID.me verification is mandatory, and the retailer needs the VIP authorization form.
- Without a smartphone
- Subaru offers no route outside ID.me. For program help, email vipprogram@subaru.com.
- Recently separated
- You have 24 months from separation. If ID.me does not show your eligibility, Subaru says to work with ID.me until your account reflects it.
- Privacy
- Spouses and domestic partners go through address verification. ID.me may ask you to upload a document.
- Verifying again
- Each authorization form lasts 45 days. Email the VIP team with your authorization number to renew it.
