The Claim Journal stores user-entered notes for organization. Keep dates and facts sourced, avoid unnecessary sensitive details, and do not treat a journal entry as a VA filing, medical record, or official receipt.

The processing-time widget shows historical or published estimates under the displayed source and date. It is not a completion promise, deadline, live claim status, or reason to delay responding to a notice.
