Use C&P Practice Mode without scripting answers
C&P Practice helps you rehearse accurate, unscripted descriptions in your own words. General prompts remain available when condition-specific generation is unavailable. Feedback is educational and may be wrong; it is not a rating, prediction, medical opinion, evidence finding, or approved answer.
Overview
C&P Practice is an educational rehearsal. It can present neutral general prompts and, when the protected AI service is available for the condition, generate a condition-specific practice set and feedback. Use it to notice whether your own description is clear and accurate, not to memorize language or predict what an examiner will ask. Practice is not a script, score, or prediction No practice question or feedback is an approved answer, medical opinion, rating estimate, evidence finding, claim-strength score, examiner script, or outcome prediction. The actual exam follows the appointment, records, provider, and questions VA or its contractor uses.
Use practice without changing your story
Choose the condition you intend to practice Confirm the displayed condition before starting. If it is unsupported or the condition-specific service is unavailable, use the clearly labeled general questions or retry later. The prompt scope is visible before you answer. Answer from your own knowledge Use ordinary words and supported estimates. Say when you are unsure. Do not add symptoms, dates, frequencies, or limitations because a prompt seems to expect them. The practice answer remains accurate and personal. Compare typical and difficult periods honestly Describe variation only when it is true. Separate what happens most of the time from a supported difficult day, flare, or episode without presenting the difficult period as constant. Frequency, duration, severity, and functional impact stay distinct. Review feedback critically Check whether feedback preserved every fact, qualifier, uncertainty, and limit. Ignore a suggestion that changes meaning, sounds unlike you, or asks for unsupported detail. AI feedback never becomes the controlling source. Return to the source records Use your appointment notice, current VA claim-exam guidance, treatment records, symptom notes, and other reliable sources to verify what you intend to describe. Preparation remains grounded in records and firsthand experience.
